During the third quarter of 2025, the food delivery app landscape in Kenya on the iOS platform showcased intriguing trends in downloads and user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Glovo: Food Delivery, Takeaway saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 2.4K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users also demonstrated a positive trajectory, rising from 32.7K at the start of the quarter to 35.3K by the end of September.

Bolt Food experienced a moderate climb in downloads, reaching 733 in the final week of the quarter. Active users showed a steady increase, beginning at 7.2K and culminating at 7.6K.

Uber Eats: Food & Groceries exhibited consistent download numbers throughout the quarter, with a slight uptick to 603 by the end of September. Active users fluctuated but ended on a high note, increasing from 8.6K to 8.5K.

Dial A Delivery 2.0 showed stable download numbers, with a minor peak of 195 in the last week of the quarter. However, no active user data was available for this period.

beU Delivery maintained a steady download rate, with a slight increase to 121 in the final week of September. Similar to Dial A Delivery 2.0, active user data was not available.
